Dear Colleagues,
It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that UJVN Limited is steadily advancing on the path of progress in the field of power generation. The construction work of Vyasi, Madhmaheshwar, Kaliganga-I, Kaliganga-II, and Suringad-II projects has been successfully completed, and these projects are now operational.Modernization, upgradation, and enhancement work at Maneri Bhali-I and Dhalipur power stations has been completed, while work at Chilla and Dhakrani power stations is progressing rapidly.Construction of the 300 MW Lakhwar project is currently underway. Additionally, processes are in progress for the construction of the 120 MW Sirkari Bhyol-Rupsiabagad, 72 MW Tyuni-Plasu, and 81 MW Arakot-Tyuni projects. Efforts are also being made to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the 660 MW Kishau project in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh through the Kishau Corporation.
UJVN Limited has established a joint venture with THDC, under which the construction of three hydroelectric projects with a total capacity of 489 MW and two pump storage projects with a capacity of 1230 MW is proposed. In addition, UJVN Limited is actively working towards establishing pump storage plants, battery energy storage schemes, green hydrogen, geothermal, and coal-based thermal power plants.
To promote a paperless working environment and ensure swift resolution of tasks, the corporation implemented the ERP system (Project Sugamya) on October 1, 2018, and has also adopted the eOffice system.
I am extremely pleased to share that, as a result of the tireless and dedicated efforts of our employees, UJVN Limited has provided a dividend of ₹20.10 crore to the Government of Uttarakhand for the financial year 2022–23.
Through various training programs, the efficiency and working methods of our officers and staff are being continuously strengthened. Employees have been trained through both internal and external programs. Additionally, practical safety training programs are being conducted at workplaces to ensure safety during operations.
Looking ahead, I hope that all employees will continue to perform their duties with full dedication and responsibility in the interest of the corporation and contribute significantly to making Uttarakhand an energy-rich state.
